After you visit the most famous sites, just walk around in the small streets of Venice and enjoy its charm. Don't miss the Cannaregio and the Castello neighborhoods, and finish your visit by the Punta della Dogana to relax and enjoy a wonderful view of Venice.
Getting around
You can access Venice by a single road or by train. Many people prefer to stay outside of Venice in Padova or Marghera. There are many trains there that will transport you to Venice. Within Venice, everything is done by walk. Don't forget to take your most confortable shoes.

The city is crowded but it is a must do. Wander around the city by walking into its many streets and get the feel of Venice. One day is enough to see it all. Stay outside Venice for cheaper prices, in Padova for instance, which has frequent trains to Venice.
